This is one of the days that Ashasthan girls look forward with eagerness. Pink day is all about self confidence, personal development and personal hygiene and sanitation. All the girls get together once each month lead by health professionals such as physicians, dentist, etc who teaches them about health and hygiene, personal development to social leadership skills. The focus is to see that these girls can develop in their personalities –[ physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually ] and can relate positively in the society.
An evening at Pink Day is not only informative but also a time of interaction and fun.
We look forward to invite professionals in different areas of specialization who would minister, teach and equip the girls to become what God has called them to. |

The girls actually wait for this day! Guess Why? Because they meet their mothers. Yes, every month on a specific day, all those who have mothers (some are Orphans of Father & Mother)gather in our office to have some time to share with their mothers about how they are, and at the same time receive from their mothers some care. Before this happens there is a quality time of worship, and sharing an encouraging Word of God.
The Good News is shared with the mothers as well and we have a time of prayer. Then the girls spend an hour or so with their mother. In this way we help strengthen the relationship between the girl and the mothe |
