Daily Schedule Monday - Thursday The young women work to a structured and routine schedule. The following is only a guideline and while we work towards consistent structure in the program, times and activities may vary due to unforseen circumstances or special events.

6.00 am Wake Up
6.00 – 7.30 am Showers & Breakfast
8.00 am Quite Time
8.30 am Devotion Time.
9.00am Tuition Class
11.00 am Lunch
11.30 am Getting ready for school.
12.00 pm Time to go to School.
1.00 pm Girls going to school in the morning 7.00am come back home
1.15 pm Lunch time for the girls who have their school in the morning and are back in the afternoon.
2.00 pm Rest Time. Afternoons are more relaxed. The girls complete afternoon work duties and take a nap.
3.00 pm Girls do their daily chores and study.
Work duties: All girls are roistered on to various household duties from dusting, mopping and cleaning up their rooms/toilets etc .
5.30 pm Girls come back from school, get fresh and have tea and snacks.
6.00 pm A study time specifically for counseling homework, personal reading or study class.
7.00 pm Lunch preparation begins.
8.00 pm Dinner
8.30 pm Devotion Time
10.00 pm Bed time
10.00 pm Lights out


 

Saturday - Sunday
Shopping, outings, DVDs, phone calls & church make up the weekends. The routine is a lot more relaxed and there is plenty of free time. 

Pink Day
Class continues with a guest speaker, staff member or audio visual teaching material addressing the behavioral, emotional & spiritual aspects of a girl’s life. 

Good Friday
Once per week the 9.00 am – 11.15 am time will be taken up by cleaning the entire house by all the girls with the house parents. 

Recreation
Recreation may include:

  • Going to a mall / a garden.
  • Indoor games.
  • Playing bicycle.
  • Helping out with community services.
  • Art classes
  • Taking a walk through the city.

Residents have counseling, as well as doctor and dietitian appointments as required.
